Shipping and Delivery
What Shipping methods do you offer?
We offer Courier, Australia Post and Express Post. For our east coast chicks we suggest Australia Post or courier as the quickest way to get your stash. For our west coast chicks we strongly suggest Australia Post as our Courier is via road so travel time to WA can be quiet long. If you need it by a certain deadline please choose express post where available as that is the only way to get it there quickly. Camera Chick is not responsible for any goods once they have been handed over to your delivery choice and a tracking number supplied. Please contact the courier directly for any information regarding tracking and delivery. All orders will be processed within 48 hours ( Mon - Fri) of being received.
Do you ship outside of Australia?
Do you allow pick ups?
No sorry we don't. By being an online store it allows us to keep our prices low so we are a 100% online which has worked well for over 4000 customers both in Australia, NZ and Internationally. Besides someone has to keep the postie and the courier in a job!
Where's my stuff?
Ah even though my dream was to have excellent customer service where you could blink and your stash would appear on the keyboard in the blink of an eye, unfortunately dreams and reality don't work hand in hand. We will send your purchases out super quick and you'll get an email from us when its shipped - I can pretty much be safe in saying this will end up in your spam folder as that's apparently where we like to hang. Once your package has shipped from us ( and has been scanned in by the shipper of your choice) we have as much control as to when it will arrive at your place as you have when you post and item. That's where the patience has to come into it as we have not lost a parcel in thousands of orders around the world and intend to keep the track record. It will be worth it but you are more than welcome to contract the courier directly for updated information.
Is your stock in Australia?
Yes - it is and its ready to ship. All of the stock on our web page is in stock ready to send to you today unless is says "approx 2 weeks shipping". Those items are usually in transit but not quiet here or we are able to pull them extra quick on the wholesale priority agreement that we have with our suppliers. In those rare cases we can get the stock quicker to you than we can to us! But back to the question - yes we stock everything right here so no international conversion rates, shipping delays or anything like that. We are just like going to the shop down the road - but instead we are online. Our prices are subject to change at any time due to the increase or decline of the Australian Dollar.
Sale item conditions?
From time to time we will sell a bag or strap at a sale price. All items sold on sale are final sales with no returns or exchanges. This includes half yearly sales.
Returns & Warranty
Free returns on refunds and exchanges
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you can return it free** for a full refund (excluding shipping costs) or exchange. It must be returned in perfect unused condition including tags, covers and dust bags within 10 days of receiving it so contact us the day you get it if you decide its not right for you. We only accept exchanges of bags that were purchased from the Camera Chick Website, and no other retail location. To request an exchange or refund, please contact us with your order number, full details and reason for returning the product to obtain a return number. We will not accept any returned products without a return number. Shipping fee will apply to exchanged products but will be capped at $10 - cos we understand. Sorry - but no returns or exchanges are offered on sale items. ** free shipping returns are through Paypal refund returns program.
All products in our store are covered under a general manufacturer's warranty for 1 year from the date of your purchase. This warranty only includes defects in workmanship and manufacturing. This warranty does not include scratches or tears of the surface of your bag/product due to misuse or abuse. This warranty does not include the wear of materials that may occur after extended use of the product. This warranty does not cover any loss of equipment or time. If the damage to your Camera Chick purchase falls within our warranty, we will be happy to replace or repair your purhcase. We reserve the right to refuse warranty based on customer service discretion. Please note that we ONLY warranty products purchased direct from Camera Chick . To submit a warranty claim, please contact us. Include a photo of the damage, where your purchased your bag, your current address and phone number and the serial number found on the inside tag of your bag. Camera Chick only covers the warranty in Australia for bags purchased from our store.
